Camp
My favorite part of camp was Thursday the 12th because it was so sunny and we got to go Kayaking and we got to jump off the wharf.
We got split into three groups and our group was the first to do Kayaking and when we were out on the water Tony was splashing us and I got completely soaked.
Once we put the Kayaks away we went and did the orienteering with Deyna which basically dried us off because we were running around trying to find little wooden signs.
Then after that, we did fishing and the squid that we were using for bait smelt so bad. I didn’t really do much fishing because I was cracking open mussels so we could use them for bait because we ran out of squid soon. Then after all the groups were finished we had lunch and then it was time to jump off the wharf.
We were already dressed in our togs because we had to wear them for Kayaking. Kaia and I were the first to jump off the wharf and then I just kept jumping. I jumped with Bree, Keira, Lucy, and Kaia again.
I got a little cold after that so I had a shower then the other kids came back and they wanted to go swimming as well, so I went swimming with them even though I had just had a shower. I jumped off with Nevaeh twice then we were jumping and diving off the lower bit.
I decided that I would try and dive off the high bit and Nevaeh said that if I did it she would but then she didn't end up doing it.
I had so much fun that day because I got to swim twice and I was swimming with my friends.
My least favorite part was only the rain but all of it was mostly good.

Baseball
Today we had I guy called Craig come in and teach us a little bit about baseball. We did a few throwing and catching skills like a fly ball which is when it gets thrown up and then a ground ball which is when it is rolled on the ground. The ball kinda hurt my hand. Then we played a game and I thought that I couldn't hit the ball but I actually managed to hit it on my first try.
It was fun except I thought that he could maybe help us without batting. Thank you, Craig.
