History of Chocolate

I didn't really know that chocolate had a long history but I knew that it was made from the cocoa bean and ancient people used to use it as a medicine.
It only existed in Mesoamerica in 1900 BCE but it was different from the chocolate that we are used too.
The Spanish were the first people to travel overseas and to encounter chocolate.
Some of the issues where that it only grew by the equator and it was a hard thing to grow and I also don't think it fair that they made children work at the plantations.
The slaves were not very well treated so I wouldn't like to be one of them, But if they had homes and good clothes then they might have felt better.
There are some ways to make sure that the chocolate that you buy has come from a safe place, One of them is to read the back and read where it came from. You can also download an app on your phone so when you scan the bar code it tells you where it has come from.

The leaning tower of pisa

It said in the video that the construction of the leaning tower started in the 12th century but when I search it up it said that it was built on the 9th of August 1173 and then it opened in 1372.
That makes it about 800 years old.
I have only seen a building lean in Wellington when it was about to be knocked down.
I would climb to the top but there would be a lot of people that would have reservations for the trip to the top of the bell tower. I would also like to take one of those photos of me holding it up.
I'm not sure if it's possible to straighten it but I wouldn't because it is famous for it's lean.

Lunar Eclipse and Aurora Borealis

An eclipse is when an astronomical object is passed by something that shadows it and what you get is an outline of something bright.\
And the Aurora lights are a natural display of lights in the sky.
The Aurora is sometimes referred to as the polar lights, the Southern lights, and the northern lights.
The colors in the lights are beautiful greens, purples, blues, and pinks.
There are also different names such as The Green Lady and The Merry Dancer. I think those are a cool way of explaining what they look like.
There are some legends that say that the lights are caused by a fox that is running across the artic fells and is sweeping its tail and it sends sparks up into the night sky.
Sometimes I think that they might be caused by gods that have a fire on trying to warm the people of the land up.

Portrait of woman in d'hermine pass (Olga) | Pablo picasso ...

The name of this piece of art is Portrait of woman in d`hermine pass.

The artist is Pablo Picasso and he was from Spain and he died in France.

Three facts about Pablo Picasso are:
1. He was regarded as one of the most influential people of the 20th century
2. Pablo was a painter, sculpture, printmaker and ceramicist.
3. He was best known for his Guernica which was painted in 1937.

My made up animal : )

The steps that the artist took were getting the kids to describe the animal and then he would sketch it and then he would draw it with pen.
He didn't go straight to using ink he used pencil first because if you go straight to ink you could make a mistake and then you cant rub out ink.
If I make an animal it would have a lizard head and just stuff from my imagination.
I would call it Tifilido.

Interveiw an animal

I don't think the birds can understand this language because it was created by humans.
I think animals can communicate in their own languages.
There are scientists that study animal languages.
Some animals can understand humans if they are taught our language. Like dog who are taught commands.
If I could speak to an animal I would ask them about their world and how they see it.
I would give up being able to talk to humans if in exchange I could talk to animals.

If I could talk to a dog I would say:

  1.  What does your world look like?
  2.  Do you like us?
  3. Do you enjoy your life?
  4. If you could would you be human?
  5. Do you enjoy being a human companion?
  6. Do you think of us as family?
  7. Do you like dog food?
  8. do you like what we give you?
  9. What would you change if you could?
  10. why do you fetch sticks?

Bug's- work from home

Fifth instar nymph of the southern green stink bug, Nezara ...
Hey, this is my picture that I made from the stuff at home.
The few steps were finding the things and going with the flow of what bug.
They a kinda hard to make and if you do it good they look really real (my one doesn't).
The person who we got the idea from, he chose him animals when he has got all the things together.
In my back yard there is lots a greenery but not many flowers.
There is all different types of thing you could use.
I chose a stink bug because they are green.

Work from home- 15 minute writing

Waves rushing up the shore seaweed drifting with it. Rocks tumbling under the white foamy mess while shells glitter on the sand. Coples walking hand in hand along the golden carpet taking in the dying sun rays. Children making sandcastles and squealing as the water rises. Mum watching like an eagle as her kids splash away. Mmm, I can smell fish and chips wafting through the air. Seagulls flying high above waiting for their chance. Unruly dog running here and there fetching sticks from the water. Owner getting tugged along as their dog sees another.

Walking up to the car, sand going everywhere. Brushing off all the sand to hop into a nice clean car.
Baby sleeping peacefully, Children chatting about their day. Mum feeling happy inside and Dad snoring loud.
